We heard tons of positive comments about last month’s Hookers Ball, about how it truly was “Aboat Time.” Those sentiments were emphasized when we published a photo gallery and it was one of the most popular, if not the most popular, in the close to five-year history of our emagazine. So we had to do an encore. Enjoy.

Ben Emery was among the hundreds of community members who celebrated the 21st annual Hookers Ball on August 6.
Good times abounded at the Hookers Ball held under the big, white tent at the Chatham V.F.W. Cynthia Wigren, Dick Pears, Charles Koeniger and Rob Stefanic are a case in point.
Amy Harmon and Rob Stefanic, long-time supporters, grab a moment at their table before circulating around the tent, which boasted the Dancing Spoon food truck, fare from Chatham Bars Inn, and lots of local fish.
Fisherman Caleb Linnell and Sadie Rose. Linnell, from a multi-generation fishing family, shared a table with several Linnells, including his father, Tim, who is a board member.
John Bendas with Jason Schlesinger enjoy the event, which celebrates the local commercial fishing industry.
Volunteers make the Hookers Ball possible. Thank you!
