Hookers Ball
Hookers Ball XXIV – Saturday August 2, 2025
We are grateful to everyone who has supported us in our shared work to sustain healthy oceans, commercial fishing and the Cape’s thriving coastal community.
Thank you to the 400 guests, fishermen, volunteers, and sponsors who joined us under the Big White Tent to celebrate the 24th annual Hookers Ball — and to everyone who helped us reach our fundraising goal!
We are thrilled to report we raised $350,000!
The array of seafood was representative of the local catch: skate, monkfish, squid, tuna, scallops, surf clams, oysters and littlenecks. We are lucky to enjoy such a bounty and grateful to the fishermen and The Barley Neck, Mahoney’s Bar & Grill, Elwood’s, Red Nun, Backside Bakes, Chatham Bars Inn and A.R.C. Hatchery.
Watch the event video and the trailer for The Hand That Holds The Line, a new documentary by Geoff C. Bassett and Kim Roderiques. Meet local fishermen and shellfish farmers who bring fresh seafood from their boats and shellfish farms to your plate. These men and women are part of the Cape’s proud fishing legacy and a vital part of our community. The full documentary will be screening at the Chatham Orpheum Theater October through December 2025 — tickets are available on their website here.
